- Does PayCamp handle boat hire as well as berths and pitches?
- Yes. Boat hire is a module called PayCamp Hire, switched on for your account rather than bought as a separate system. It covers fleet availability, half-day, day and multi-day rates, the digital waiver and ID check, and the damage deposit. Yard work is a second module, PayCamp Yards, covering job scheduling, labour and parts, and invoicing from the job record.PayCamp HirePayCamp Yards
- What does PayCamp cost?
- Plans start at £49 a month with no setup fee and no commission on your subscription. The plan is priced by how many units you manage — berths, pitches or plots. The boat hire and yard modules are priced separately on top. There is a 14-day free trial and no card is needed to start it.Full pricing
- Can I use my own Stripe account to take card payments?
- Yes. You can connect your own Stripe account, in which case the money lands in your Stripe balance and PayCamp takes nothing from the transaction. The alternative is PayCamp Payments, where we handle the card processing for you and the funds settle to your bank on Stripe’s own schedule. - Can one login run more than one site?
- Yes. If your login has access to more than one site, a site picker appears at the top of the dashboard and the whole account follows whichever site you choose — bookings, invoices, customers and settings. Staff permissions are set per site. Reports run a site at a time today; a group-wide view is in build.Multi-site
- Does PayCamp handle electricity metering and UK VAT?
- Yes. You record meter readings against a pitch, berth or plot, PayCamp calculates the usage between readings, and bills it per kWh with UK VAT applied. The charge goes onto the same invoice as the pitch or berth fee rather than being tracked separately.Electricity metering
- Where is my data held, and can I get it out?
- PayCamp runs on UK and EU cloud data centres. You can export your data at any time and it is never sold. Towpath Digital Ltd, which operates PayCamp, is registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Platform support cannot read your data unless you grant time-limited, scoped access, and every access is written to an audit trail you can read.SecurityPrivacy policy
